Lily's of Tubac

New Gifts

After thirty-two years in Madera Canyon, David & Lyle Collister sold the Santa Rita Lodge and moved to Rio Rico, Arizona to be close to their daughter and three beautiful grand children. Lyle rented the “road house”  in 2006 across from Wisdom’s cafe to be used as a studio for painting and maybe a small shop.  Seeing all the traffic at the popular cafe they decided to add more to the gallery and named it Lily’s Home Boutique.  Appreciation for the fine artisans in Southern Arizona and across the border in Nogales prompted a collection of furniture, home accents, art & jewelry.  After five years they moved Lily’s Home Boutique down the road and into the village of Tubac at the  charming Mercado de Baca Plaza.   At the Plaza you will find Shelby's restaurant which has been serving excellent food for eighteen years.

David designs, prints  and markets a beautiful line of hummingbird notecards.  They are sold at Lily’s and shops around the country. For wholesale information email David at

"Our goal is to have high quality merchandise at very competitive prices and to have work by as many local artists as possible."

Tubac is a charming village rich with history. Established in 1752 as a Spanish presidio, it was the first Spanish colonial garrison in what is now Arizona. Tubac was one of the stops on the Camino Real (the "Royal Road") from Mexico to the Spanish settlements in California. In Tubac you will find fabulous galleries, interesting boutiques, and fine restaurants.   Its backdrop is the beautiful Santa Rita Mountain range, famous for its abundant species of birds and mammals.  The Santa Cruz valley of Southern Arizona is a popular destination for folks from all around the world who want to experience Arizona nature and history. We hope to see you soon in our special “neck of the woods”!
